PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN

The Pirates of the Caribbean are a popular film series consisting of four fantasy films produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and most notably written by Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio. ‘The East India Trading Company’ is featured in the films, namely the second and also in the third. A main character of the series is Lord Cutler Beckett, Chairman of The East India Trading Company and representative of King George II of Great Britain, portrayed by Tom Hollander.
 

CHANNEL 4 – INDIAN SUMMERS

‘Indian Summers’ was a British drama series that began airing on Channel 4 on the 15th of February 2015. The show is created around the events of summers spent at Simla, situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. It follows a group of British socialites at the time of the British Raj.
 

THE CROWN JEWELS – TOWER OF LONDON

A popular tourist attraction in London, the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London boast the infamous Koh-i-Noor Diamond. The infamous and large diamond was bought back to England by The East India Company for Queen Victoria. It was exhibited during the Great Exhibition of 1851. Currently, it resides in the Crown of Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother.
