1871 – Royal Albert Hall Exclusives
As the preferred tea supplier for The Royal Albert Hall, The East India Company has created two exclusive blends of fine black tea. 1871 was the year when the Royal Albert Hall was first officially opened by HRH The Prince of Wales, but our historic ties with this iconic venue go back even further. In 1851, The East India Company played an instrumental role in the success of the Great Exhibition, supplying grand displays of riches from the East. The proceeds were used by the Royal Commission to establish institutions promoting the arts and sciences – one of them, the Royal Albert Hall. Experience for yourself these traditional teas and join us in celebrating our exciting collaboration with The Royal Albert Hall.
