Halcyon Days Chapel Royal Livery Mug

SKU: BCCRU06MGG Categories: , , , ,

A striking fine bone china mug inspired by the iconic red fabric of the 17th Century tunics of the ‘Children of the Chapel Royal’ – the Monarch’s choristers whos duties are to sing in the chapels of St James’s Palace, Kensington Palace and Buckingham Palaces. The intricacies of the fabric can be seen within the rich scarlet red and 24ct gold gilding.

Behind the Craft

Established in 1950, Halcyon Days began as a small emporium of antique gifts in Avery Row, Mayfair, London. Tradition is at the heart of everything that Halcyon Days does, with a team of highly skilled craftsmen and master artists in the UK employing refined techniques that have been handed down for generations.

Today Halcyon Days is one of the world’s leading producers of English fine bone china with a focus on creating treasured keepsakes and luxury gifts. It is one of only 14 companies in the world to hold all three Royal Warrants to the British Royal household. This important relationship sets the high standard of British craftsmanship and design which Halcyon Days is so dedicated to maintaining.

We advise hand washing due to the nature of the gilding.
