White Tea

White tea is loved and prized by true tea connoisseurs across the world, but we want it to be less of a secret. Made from only the unopened and fragile fledgling buds from the top of the tea plant, of course hand-picked, and then left to quickly dry in natural sunlight.
White tea varies from tea garden to tea garden, but a common characteristic is that it’s completely un-oxidised. The resulting, striking silvery-white teas are renowned for a range of reputed health benefits, due to the presence of polyphenols. In the cup, the white tea liquor is often a pale yellow colour with gentle flavours and exquisite sweetness.

We are proud white tea advocates and curate a wonderful collection from some of the finest tea gardens, from Nepal to Sri Lanka to China. The teas have wonderfully evocative names too, such as Silver Cloud, Snow White and Golden Tips, the later truly being one of the rarest and finest teas in the world. To savour on a special occasion or to wow when surprising a guest, we treat it like gold dust. Release your curiosity and discover white teas – you might never go back.
