NEW – Monet’s The Water-Lily Pond 2oz Silver Coin.

The East India Company releases its fifth painting in our Precious Art Collection, Monet’s The Water-Lily Pond 2oz Silver Coin.

This famous National Gallery owned painting attracts admirers all over the world and is one of 17 paintings by Impressionist Claude Monet of his Japanese inspired garden at Giverny, North West Paris.

In 1883 Monet acquired a property at Giverny where he was to live until his death. There, on the grounds of his property, he created a water garden ‘for the purpose of cultivating aquatic plants’, over which he built an arched bridge in the Japanese style.

Capturing the essence of a movement which has captivated art lovers for over a century, The Water-Lily Pond, 1889 is expertly reproduced using The National Gallery’s expert panel of curators to create a precious metal art coin for collectors to treasure.

Every piece is expertly printed to ensure each coin mirrors the true intensity of the original painting. Minted in 2oz of Fine Silver this 2oz Silver coin is presented in a beautiful Perspex display case, accompanied with a informative certificate of authenticity and outer presentation box for safe keeping.
