The East India Company First Flush Iced Tea being made at Holborn Dining Room’s Gin Bar
The East India Company has partnered with Rosewood London to create an uplifting
seasonal drink, made with the brand’s sought-after Darjeeling First Flush Tea and
London Dry Gin. Created by head bartender Eleonora Biason, it delicately marries the
uniquely fragranced tea and the botanicals of the gin, with rose cordial to complement the
Darjeeling’s floral bouquet and Merchant’s Heart Pink Peppercorn tonic water to enhance
the gin’s spicy notes. In the elegant surrounds of Holborn Dining Room’s Gin Bar, this
refreshing drink is now available, until the end of September.

The East India Company First Flush Iced Tea can also be made in the comfort

35 ml The East India Company Dry London Gin
60 ml First Flush Darjeeling
1 teaspoon Rose Cordial
60 ml Merchant’s Heart Pink Peppercorn Tonic Water
2 dash Ginger Bitter
1 dash Lavender
In a highball glass, add the Dry London Gin, the Rose Cordial, First Flush Darjeeling,
Ginger Bitter and Lavender.
Add ice cubes and then top up the glass with the Pink Peppercorn Tonic Water, before
delicately stirring. Garnish with a twist of orange peel and a rose petal or two.
