TEA FOR THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL

MAGAZINE ARTICLES
RAH-TeaCaddies Inspired by the Royal Albert Hall and its vast range of culturally rich events, our Tea Master has crafted two new fine black teas: the 1871 Blend and the 1871 Signature Earl Grey. The teas commemorate the year 1871 when the Royal Albert Hall was first officially opened by HRH The Prince of Wales.

One a robust and full-bodied breakfast blend and the other a zesty Earl Grey with natural Bergamot oil, both teas are available in charming little caddies as well as pouches. Experience for yourself these traditional teas and join us in celebrating our exciting collaboration with the Royal Albert Hall.

Perfectly timed for Christmas, these beautiful teas will be sure to bring cheer to everyone from tea lovers to arts enthusiasts. They are available at the Royal Albert Hall shop as well as at The East India Company stores.
Rekindling Historic Ties

Earlier this year, we signed a two-year agreement with the Royal Albert Hall that saw us becoming the preferred tea supplier to this cultural venue. The two delightful teas complement our eclectic selection of fine teas being served at all restaurants and bars at the Hall.

Whilst the Hall itself only opened in 1871, our historic ties with this iconic venue go back even further to the year 1851. The East India Company played an instrumental role in the success of the Great Exhibition of 1851, supplying grand displays of riches from the East. The proceeds were used by the Royal Commission to establish institutions promoting the arts and sciences – one of them, the Royal Albert Hall.
